What is the Hethersett 30/60/90?

It's an annual cycling taking place every year.


How fit do I need to be?

As long as you can ride a bicycle, you should be able to take part in one of our rides! Enjoy!


Is there an age restriction?

Yes. You must be aged 14 or over on the 5th April 2015.


What happens after I register?

Two to Three weeks before the event, you will receive the entry details and your rider number to wear on the day.


What is happening at Hethersett Social Club?

While the riders are out on the route there will be stands from local companies to walk around and visit.


There will be a BBQ selling Hot Dogs and Burgers.


There will also be a band to welcome the riders back.


What happens if I get into difficulties?

You should be able to fix simple problems yourself like a flat tyre however there will be a mobile mechanic on the route and the contact details will be on the reverse of the route card.


Should you require medical assistance, St. Johns Ambulance will be at the start/finish, the rest stops and there will be a vehicles on the route. Again, the contact details, will be on the reverse of the route card.


Do I need to wear a helmet?

We recommend the use of a cycling helmet.


Is it event insured?

Yes, we have up to £10 million liability insurance through British Cycling.


Is it a race?

No, it is not a race. The Hethersett 30/60/90 is open to all abilities and gives the participant a chance to raise money for charity, use it to train for another event or to just go out and have fun.
